A MALAYSIAN NOODLE BAR

Chef at work in the kitchen

The story of Malaysia is a story of connection. Growing up, we saw how dishes like nasi goreng kampung and curry wantan mee became icons not through one culture, but through the shared lives of many. They are the artifacts of our unity.

Jalinan — Malay for "to weave" — was created to honor this spirit with a renewed sense of wonder. We don't seek to change our traditions; we seek to marvel at them. By weaving together influences from across our diverse backgrounds, we create flavors that are deeply familiar yet filled with new layers to uncover. This is our tribute to our land: a celebration of heritage, told through the wonder of a single bowl.

Blurring the lines between what was 'yours' and 'mine' until it becomes ours.
